every morning is a new surprise in the garden


The irises last for many weeks

so many varieties of bromeliads

deeply coloured clivias

more flowers


a tree orchid

hot lips

insects get devoured in those traps

the petreya creeper flowers a few times a year

bromeliads and bamboo





some native plants and some exotics







the trees have lots of other plants growing on them

waratah ginger

the waratah ginger grows very tall
The fires were burning last week on the Koonyum range.
Thanks to the hard working fire fighters, the fires are all finished

around the house




There is a flat area around our house. The most densly planted spot on our land
the day lilies are multiplying fast
spring time is very colourful
